Brian got it in Mexico. His initials are carved on one of the shells.
Before I say anything, I just wanna warn you that Shameless is not entirely similar to what the recent gifs circulating may lead you to believe (I assume you’re referring to the Ian and Mickey kissing/sleeping next to each other thing), In fact, it’s pretty painful on that front… but like a recent quote from shameless says: “The good parts are so good, you’re willing to suffer an unbelievable amount of pain just to get to them” (lol, I am infatuated with this show).
Their relationship is unlike I’ve ever seen before because you just root for them and become so invested in their happiness, honestly it’s amazing how many emotions they can invoke seeing as they have a limited amount of screen time compared to other main characters (like, in the first two seasons their relationship is a pretty minor storyline but there’s been a lot developments since then).
That being said, this show is seriously spectacular as a whole/overall and I definitely recommend that you watch it because not only are you given insight into the raw lives and stories of these people, but it’s refreshingly honest and heart-felt, tackles important issues and also manages to have a dark-twisted humour to it.
tl:dr: Yes, watch it because the show’s really really good.
ok ok so I’ve been thinking about this. I’m sorry if this was all very obvious to people but I need to write it down.
When Mickey first comes in to Ian’s room he says, “So you left? You took all your shit.”
Which made me wonder, what shit? After the creepy club scene Mickey literally threw Ian over his shoulder and took him home, no bags or shit to be seen.
Which leads me to believe that Mickey went and checked the old building where Ian had all his army things before he went to the Gallagher house. I think it’s pretty much confirmed that Ian went back to that building to pick up his stuff in the scene when he’s returning home (because he’s carrying a green bag).
Later, Mickey asks: "Are you coming back?" And I don’t think he means the Milkovich house because a) both Svetlana and Ian already explained that he was chased off and b) Mickey knows Ian won’t really be safe in the Milkovich house in the first place, so why ask if he’s coming back?
I think when he asks are you coming back? It’s more of a are you here to stay?
